1. About Relay

Relay is a ministry toolkit operated by Christian Life Assembly ("CLA", "we", "us") at relay.claupc.org. It provides two services:

• Staff tools — event check-in, follow-up coordination, and volunteer management for CLA events including Freedom Crusade and Vacation Bible School.
• Public registration — online pre-registration for CLA events open to the general public, such as Vacation Bible School.

2. SMS Messaging Programs

Relay operates two separate SMS programs. By providing your phone number to either program, you agree to receive messages as described:

Program A — Staff login & follow-up (volunteers only):

By enrolling as a volunteer and providing your mobile number, you agree to receive:

• One-time verification codes to complete staff login (two-factor authentication).
• Notifications when a follow-up request is assigned to you.

Message frequency varies based on volunteer activity — typically a handful of messages per event. Message and data rates may apply.

Program B — VBS registration verification (general public):

By providing your mobile number during Vacation Bible School child registration, you agree to receive:

• One-time verification code to confirm your phone number during the registration process.

Message frequency: 1 message per registration session. Message and data rates may apply.

3. Opt-Out and Help

Reply STOP at any time to opt out of all SMS messages from Relay. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at logan@logvan.com.

We do not sell or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. VBS Registration

VBS pre-registration is open to children ages 3–12. A registration fee of $5 per child (capped at $20 per family) is collected at check-in on the first night of the event. Pre-registration does not guarantee enrollment; CLA reserves the right to cap class sizes.

By completing VBS registration on behalf of a child, you confirm that you are the child's parent, legal guardian, or an authorized adult with permission to provide the child's information and consent to participation.

Medical and allergy information entered during registration is used solely to inform VBS staff of relevant health considerations. It is not shared outside of event staff. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

5. Staff & Volunteer Access

Staff tool access requires a shared event password and individual two-factor authentication via a registered mobile phone. Volunteers agree to keep credentials confidential and to use Relay only for legitimate CLA event coordination purposes.

6. Acceptable Use

All users agree not to misuse Relay, including attempting to access accounts or data belonging to others, submitting false registration information, or using the platform for any purpose unrelated to CLA ministry operations.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Relay after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
